What is Stem Cell Regeneration Therapy?
Stem Cell Regeneration Therapy is a medical treatment modality that has been used for over 10 years. We are now offering new therapies for chronic (long term) injuries, pain, and illnesses. Regenerative medicine works alongside your functional medicine therapies to maximize your body's ability to regrow new tissue, reduce pain, and increase mobility. It is 70-85% successful, has low side effects, and may help as soon as 6 weeks from the beginning of therapy.

Regenerative medicine is a form of tissue engineering and molecular biology which deals with the "process of replacing, engineering or regenerating human cells, tissues or organs to restore or establish normal function". When injured or invaded by disease, our bodies have the innate response to heal and defend. Harnessing and enhancing the body's own regenerative powers is a medical practice at the frontier of present-day advancements whose properties may seem miraculous to those who benefit from them. The miracle, however, is the result of scientific exploration that has begun to unlock and utilize the body's extraordinary ability to heal and restore itself.
Cells are the building blocks of tissue, and tissues are the basic unit of function in the body. Generally, groups of cells make and secrete their own support structures, called the extracellular matrix. This matrix, or scaffold, does more than just support the cells; it also acts as a relay station for various signaling molecules. Thus, cells receive messages from many sources that become available from the local environment.
What “is it” ?
• Medical Stem Cell Tissue (MSCT) is: Cord Blood, Cord Tissue, Placental Tissue from a donor mother/baby (some adipose and Umbilical Cord (Birth Tissue) derived Stem Cells)
• PRP: platelet-rich plasma taken from the patient themselves (autologous)
• Exosome: Small vesicles found in nearly every bodily fluid that facilitate a range of important cellular functions. They transfer DNA, RNA, and proteins to other cells, thereby altering the function of the target cells.
What is it “Not!”
• MSCT/PRP is not bone marrow
• MSCT/PRP is not a blood transfusion from another person
• MSCT/PRP does not contain cow, nor pork, nor goat, nor any other “animal” proteins
• Note: Humans are animals too, but PRP is “cells from you” (your own blood)
Who Are Treatment Candidates?

Some Medical indicators that may suggest you are a good candidate for Stem Cell Regeneration Therapy are:

• Osteoarthiritis (of any joint)
• Poorly healed injuries
• Auto-immune illness (M/S)
• Gout
• Back Pain (injury)
• Treatment Resistant Back Pain (illness related)
• Chronic Organ Disease (example: Chronic Kidney Disease), Pancrease, Kidney, Vascular
• Primary Immunodeficiency when pain is involved
• Alzheimer's, HIV Dementia, Hepatitis-C Dementia
• Dementia when other treatments are failing
• Neuropathy of Hands
• Neuropathy of Feet
• Chronic Viral Induced Pain Disorders (polymyalgia rheumatic)
• Parasthetica's (Cauda Equina)
• Myelitis
• M/S
• Genetic /Congenital Connective Tissues Disorder, Elhers-Danlos

Cellular Wharton’s Jelly
(fetal side of cord)

• Wharton’s Jelly is a gelatinous substance in the umbilical cord that provides cushioning and support to the umbilical vein and arteries. At the time of birth, the cord clamps itself almost directly in the middle. The Wharton’s Jelly from the fetal side of the cord are considered cellular and consist of a network of structural proteins, pericytes, mesenchymal stem cells, cytokines, chemokines and growth factors.

• The rate of proliferation is more than from other sources.
EXOSOMES

Exosomes are primarily used in cell signaling and are found in all bodily fluids. Cells communicate with each other using cytokines that are excreted by one cell and tell another cell what to do.

Think of an orchestra and how the conductor makes sure all of the instruments produce beautiful music instead of noise. The conductor in this case is the exosome. Exosomes are produced by many different types of cells and can contain various biomolecules including mRNA, miRNA, growth factors, and other proteins.

Exosomes inherit transmembrane proteins and lipids from their parent cells that are important in targeting and uptake into other cells.
Amniotic Allograft Fluid

New Life™ – Relev (amniotic fluid matrix) is a minimally manipulated allograft tissue for homologous use that is intended to supplement or replace damage or inadequate connective tissue.
Amniotic fluid is a rich source of proteins, cytokines, hyaluronic acid, collagens and growth factors that are required for healing. Relev is a perfect match for synovial fluid in joints and exhibits anti-scarring, anti- adhesion and anti-inflammatory properties.
Amniotic Allograft Matrix

Reviv is a minimally manipulated human tissue allograft derived from the amniotic fluid and the extracellular matrix of the amniotic membrane. Reviv is processed to preserve cytokines, growth factors and scaffolding proteins in amniotic membrane for homologous use.

The extracellular matrix of the amniotic membrane contains a high concentration of cellular scaffolding, cytokines, growth factors and proteins.
Acellular Wharton’s Jelly
Maternal Side

The Wharton’s Jelly from the fetal side of the cord consist of the same components as ReSTOR (structural proteins, pericytes,, cytokines, chemokines and growth factors) but very little, if any MSCs.
Umbilical Cord Blood

Stem cells were identified in UCB over 40 years ago. Since then, UCB has been routinely used for hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. UCB contains a combination of cells including hemopoietic stem cells (HSC) and trace amounts of mesenchymal stem cells (MSC).
Umbilical cord blood is primarily used in the treatment of autoimmune diseases.
